Another week flying by in good ole' Luling, Louisiana! It is so beyond crazy how fast time seems to be going by down here and if I could pause time for a bit that would be prettyyyy nice!! Here are a few little tidbits/ tender mercies from this week :)
- A member of our branch is leaving for his mission in a couple of weeks and so we had a farewell party this past week and ended it with a mini little testimony session and our advice for Kory. The spirit was soooo strong and easily was one of the most spirit filled testimony meetings I have had in a long time. People sharing their testimonies, advice, gratitude, and a couple of tears too, it really was so amazing and special to be apart of and see the testimony and strength from the members here in Luling. It's moments like those were there is no way you can deny that this gospel is true.
-Last transfer I was looking through the area book and came across a family that just reallyyyy stood out to me but I kinda forgotten about it (I suck I am aware) and put it to the back of my mind. Shame on me because this past week the Spirit must have beat some sense into me and made me remember this family. So we decided to go stop in on the Hage's and it was one of the best first experiences that I have ever had as a missionary. The most loving, open, and happiest family I have ever met. They were so excited to see the sisters because the sisters in the past stopped visiting them and they never knew why. It was so good to get to know of them and feel of their immense amount of love that dwells within their home and to be able to start teaching them again. I am grateful for the Spirit and to be able to receive those promptings that truly are from the heavens on high.
-I am currently obsessed with watermelon, don't ask me why it's weird I am aware. But a member just felt like bringing us by a watermelon and I am convinced she was led by the Spirit because I was this close to go and buy one myself. It was the smallest thing ever but it made me a very happy sista :)
-Finally, last but not least, this past Sunday was seriously so amazing. I have found that Sunday's in the Luling branch are seriously my favorite things. We even got another surprise visitor from my home land of Covington and it just so happened to be my favorite family, the Ory's! It was so good to see them again and reflect back on how much they helped me in the beginning of my mission and the spirit and love felt within their homes and friendships. We may be few in numbers here in Luling but always always do we have the most spirit filled Sunday's. They have helped me so much in these last couple of weeks and have really given me an appreciation and greater love and understanding of the Spirit.
My testimony of the Spirit has truly grown while being here in Luling and the impact and difference that it can make in our lives. I know that it was one of the many reasons I needed to be in Luling and I am grateful every single day for the Spirit and the love that I know comes directly from our loving Father in Heaven. God knew I needed the Spirit more then ever at this time of my life to feel His comfort, His love, His guidance and direction I am, as well as all of God's children, are so desperately in need of.
I love y'all, miss you but keep calm because exactly ONE MONTH from today you will be blessed again with my presence;) you are all welcome... Have the best week!! Sending all my love from the Bayou!! <33

Soooo... Easily one of THE scariest moments of my life. Get a text real early saying President Varner wants me meet with you... Trying to scrape from the barrel what we did wrong but instead he just decided to come and bring us all to breakfast... I like this man.
The moment has arrived kids... The trunky papers are hereeee :)
Selfie with the comp because we suck at taking pictures....
I laughed at myself for a solid 20 minutes over this one.. Muffy-T is still in business ;) (thank you to the large fan that made this laugh possible)
Elder Dover... Trying to talk him into moving to America.. He is like my little brother from a brown motha.. Mom and Dad... Can we adopt him?? hahahaha
