This week has been an interesting one that's for sure!! In every area that I have ever came into I swear we are always non stop busy. Appointments set up, people to see, back ups, all the jazzy missionary stuff!! But this area is A LOT slower then what I am use to. Every area is different in it's own way and Luling is no exception. At first it was reallllyyyy frustrating. I just wanted to do missionary work and to build up God's kingdom here in Luling. But you think I would learn my lesson by now that its not about me at all, but that it's ALL about the Lord's work and His timetable.
Soooo we decided we had change/ do something because I am kinda going a little bit crazy and we alllll know that is not a good idea:) So... We dropped everyone, everything, the whole nine yards and are starting fresh from the start!! Have I ever done this? Noooo... Do I know what I am doing?? Never... Is it gonna be fun, crazy, scary, exciting?? HECK YESSSS!!! So if you have any extra prayers to spare for the Luling Sisters it would be very much so appreciated:)
I love Luling.. I really do. The people, the branch, Sister Davis, my district, I just love it all. But what I love most of all is the potential that it has to be something absolutely amazing. I have come to realize that God doesn't put caps or limits on our investigators, areas, or ourselves but that we do that to ourselves. God really never does lose sight of our divine potential of who we are and what we can become and I feel the same for Luling. Good things are sure a coming, I just know it!!
