The week was all focused around Julia and her baptism and to make sure we were in contact everyday and to keep influencing her for the good, even though she is so stellar she barely needed us I swear! We were able to meet with her daily and help her with any concerns, needs, anything. It was so good, she was soooo ready and so excited!!
To make my week that much greater I was able to go on the greatest exchange with my best friend Sister Meador (my MTC companion)! Let's just say we had the time of our lives and still even were able to have fun doing missionary work together. It was very much so needed and it just makes me realize how blessed I really am to be able to make some of the greatest friends because of my mission. Who would have thought 13 months could bring such a great friendship? It's seriously the best feeling!
Julia's baptism... Talk about one of the coolest, happiest, most spiritual days of my life! It was so cool to see that her family was able to come and support her and make her day that much more special for her! We had a really good turn out from the ward and all of the talks and support was just so awesome! The only thing she was worried about was that her weave would float up in the water so we must be doing something right:)
What a spiritual, testimony builder it was to be able to teach Julia and prepare her to enter the waters of baptism. I will be honest I did nothing for Julia compared to what she did for me. She taught me so much and made my testimony strengthen that much greater in the gospel and reminded me just how important the covenants I made at baptism as well.
Julia's Baptism.. Seriously one of the greatest days of my life

Okay so my lovely roommate Sister Uibel is an AMAZING drawer artist person! So all I asked for my birthday was a picture of me on Pride Rock, sounds about right, right? so BAAAAMMM! one month later she PAINTED Pride Rock Steve.. It's my favorite thing ever.
