Victoria is progressing amazingly! She is reading the Book of Mormon daily and is going really slow so she can understand and get everything out of it. She has such a desire to know if this is true and is doing all she can to find out. It is one of the coolest things I have ever seen and seriously see myself so blessed to be able to see it first hand!
I love how it talks about in the introduction that those who read the Book of Mormon with a real desire and the sincerity to know that they WILL gain a testimony. Not just maybe or possibly but that they will and I know that promise is true because people cannot deny it once they have read it seeking to know the truth.
Another awesome story for ya... So we have a list of seriously like 500 names and phones numbers and no other info whatsoever... Thank you former missionaries for not being organized. Anyways... So we have been trying to call them and no luck really. Sister Putoa wanted to try her phone skills and someone FINALLY answers and was so excited to hear from us and wanted us to come over. This never happens so I was kinda concerned we were running ourselves into a crazy woman who was gonna lock us in her basement and hold us for ransom.
BUT that was not the case this time!! Miss Sharon is probably the greatest, funniest person I have ever met! Her brother is a member of the church that lives in Las Vegas and she got five feet of water during the flood and the Mormon Helping Hands came and gutted her whole house. She was so grateful and realized she wanted to be apart of something like that so when we called she knew it was "her time" as she would put it!
She is so prepared and so ready to embrace the gospel! She came to church with us and loved it so much and told everyone she is coming back and made a lot of friends! She even stopped and told President that we are the greatest missionaries and she loves us, thank you Sharon for that one:) But we are really excited to see where it goes.
Its crazy all the many tender mercies I have been seeing lately but I know that they are from working hard and trying to be better each day! Y'all are always in my prayers and know I love and appreciate you all so so much!! Have the best week!
