Goodbye Covy

Hollllaaaa from the promised land of Louisiana! Wow.. Its been a good/ sad week! It is super hard to say goodbye to an area and especially because i have been here so long! I think I have cried more leaving here then I did at home! But I know that the Lord puts us where we need to be and I am super excited to go to my next area and meet just as many amazing people as I have met in Covington!

Covington truly is a special place. Full of some of the most amazing memories and  people I have ever met with the greatest potential. I will forever be grateful for the time that I have had to serve in Covington because it truly taught me how to love. I never thought that I would be able to love total strangers but the love I have  grown for these people over the last six months is something that will last forever. It doesn't matter their appearance, background, job status, race, or anything for that matter. We are all God's children and He loves us all no matter how different that we are!

The Relief Society president gave us a few less active names to go visit and she gave us a new member record as well! We went and checked out the new member record and the nicest lady answered and explained the person we were looking for was her sister but she had no idea why her records would have been sent there because she lives in a whole other state! She invited us in anyways and we got to talking. She was raised in Utah with a very active mother who later died of cancer and after her mom died the  family just went less active and she really had no idea why. She had been telling her nine year old daughter all about the church she grew up in but had no idea where to find it.

It was seriously a miracle! She was so excited to see us and we are starting to teach her nine year old daughter Jasmine now. Heavenly Father truly does work in mysterious ways but I am so grateful for this awesome experience I was able to have for my last week in Covy. I know that when we are obedient and diligent Heavenly Father blesses us and puts us in those people's lives who are prepared.

I love y'all so much and am so grateful for all the love and support I receive. I will let y'all know my new address as soon as i get it! Love y'all!!
