Honestly I have probably have had one of the happiest weeks in my whole mission. It was one of the hardest as well but I have seen so many blessings and great things come out of it!
We have been tracting a ton and I was able to see a lot of blessings come out of that! We met some awesome people that have a lot of potential so I am really excited to see where this all goes! One of the ladies just sat there and hugged her Book of Mormon and was so excited to start reading... How couldn't I be happy??
Thursday we had a zone conference and you would never believe who I got to see! Sister Erin Fox:) It was one of the best and happiest days on my mission being able to see one of my best friends and knowing that we are in this mission together and know what each other are going through so that was a huge blessing.
I was able to go on exchanges this week as well with the Sister Training Leaders and it was an amazing experience. We saw so many people and worked so hard. We were seriously exhausted but we were so happy. We were happy because we both knew we gave our Heavenly Father our all and when you are serving Him with real intent and your whole heart that is when you are your happiest I have come to find.
The last reason why I can't help but be happy is the knowledge that I have of the gospel of Jesus Christ during these hard and trialing times in life. It is so comforting to know that God truly does have all power and that He has a hand in all things no matter how disfunctional our lives or the scary things that go on around us in this world, He knows it all. Even though there is so much hurt and anger going on in the world right now we have something so special and so great that we can share with people that can bring them that hope and peace that people are longing for. That message is the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and the power of His everlasting Atonement that can heal any wound and help those that stand in need of comfort.
I just challenge all of you to be a light in the world to those people who need it most and to know that God loves all of his children. Keep Louisiana in your prayers and know that I am happy and am grateful for the amazing people I have in my life!
Yayy or Nayy??
Hope you like it:)
