This week has been really interesting for us missionaries in Louisiana. Due to all the shootings and protests going on our mission is pretty locked up tight so things have been really slow. But I know that God protects His servants and that we are the most prayed for people in all of the world. But your prayers for these people would really be appreciated. They need the light of Christ in their life and we just hope and pray that they can have that peace that the gospel can bring them.
But I just wanted to share my favorite scripture with y'all. It is in Either 12:27. It seriously has helped me sooo much while being on a mission and I am grateful for the amazing friend that showed me this. I know that God puts weaknesses into our lives not to discourage us but to only make us better. He does the same with trials and the hard times in our life. I know that if we turn to our Savior with these trials that are weak things truly can become strengths.
Being on a mission has really magnified those weaknesses that I have but it has also helped me realize that I can turn to my Savior for anything and everything. He knows what we are feeling. He knows the heartaches and pains that we go through. He knows how to help but we just have to ask for it. He loves us more then we can ever comprehend and I know He is the reason that we are all able to get through our trials and our weaknesses.
I hope y'all have an amazing week and continue to put your weaknesses into the Saviors hands and let Him in. I love being a missionary. I love Louisiana. I love the people. I love my Savior. And I love all of you.
Five Months with my favorite people:)
