Baptisms are the Best

Holllaaa to some of my favorite people:) Since it was Memorial Day we had to email today instead! But I spent my Memorial Day attempting to fish and sweating bullets so all in all it was a pretty decent day!  Wow it has been such a good week and a lot of awesome things happened this week!

But for starters it was my first baptism!! Jorja Foote ( Its pronounced Georgia she is most definitely white) is a nine year old girl who we have been teaching for over a month now! Her parents were less active till just a little bit ago and Jorja decided that she wanted to be baptized! But since she is nine she has to be taught by missionaries so it has been one of my favorite things teaching her! Jorja and I got along great because she is one of the sassiest people I have ever met but is truly a sweetheart! What made it even better is that she got to be baptized with her little sister Jersee! Before the baptism the two girls just sat by the font and watched it fill up. They are never quiet, ever, but they both just stood there quietly and were so excited. It was probably one of the sweetest things I have ever seen!!

Everyone that attended the baptism could feel the Spirit so strong that day. Although she will probably be the easiest person I will ever teach, it was one of the happiest days/feelings that I have experienced while being on my mission! In a lot of ways it has lit a fire in me that just wants to baptize everyone that I come in contact with (literally) because I want everyone to experience that amazing feeling like I did! 

Our investigators are seriously awesome but we really wanted some new people to teach so we decided we need to tract more.. I wasn't too good at tracting and am probably the most awkward person ever when it comes to being a missionary so it is not my most favorite thing to do not gonna lie! But all week long we tracted for multiple hours a day and I have seen so many blessings come from it! First we got to meet a lot of new and amazing people that we can start teaching because of it! We were so good that one day we got six lessons in a matter for three hours! We treated ouorsleves to some ice cream for our reward:) Second I have become a lot more confident in tracting and literally could do it all day long now! It has turned into one of my favorite things to do as a missionary and have a fun time doing it as well!

So there's my week for ya and I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense! Know that I love y'all so much and that I am loving every second here in Louisiana! have the best week ever y'all:)
