Spiritual Feast

Holllaaaa from the promised land of Louisiana! I hope y'alls week have been awesome and are enjoying the nice weather while we are dripping from every pore here! But I was able to have some awesome experiences this week and have helped me SO much as a missionary!!

We were able to have a mission conference this week with a Quorum of the Seventy! Elder Kopischke is from Germany and has the strongest testimony! We talked a lot about how we as missionaries can magnify our calling and how we can be the missionaries that our Heavenly Father wants us to be. It was such a huge blessing for me because it was exactly what I needed at that time and has guided me to what I want to be as a missionary! It was the best day and plus I got  to see my favorite missionary Sister Meador:) it was the best!

I also got the chance to go on an exchange with one of the most amazing sister missionaries out here! Sister Lanning is an amazing sister and taught me a lot in just the little while we were together! We decided to go tracting on the hottest day of the year so far and just so happened to find ourselves in the ghetto of Louisiana! So probably not the greatest idea that we ever had but it was seriously so much fun even if we were drenched in sweat and the only white girls for miles! We were able to see a lot of success and just shows the fruits of our labors when we are diligent in being obedient!

All in all it was a pretty great week here in old Covington and it was a spiritually amazing week for me and helped me grow so much as a missionary and what I want out of my mission! The mission is definitely the hardest  thing I have ever done but it has by far been the greatest! I am so grateful for all of the love and support I get! I couldn't do it without all the love and prayers you send to me! Have the best week y'all!!
