This week was again really good, really busy but always good! We had a baptism fall through on us so we were super bummed, but know that it will happen with a little time and a lot of prayer:) But I think I have told y'all before but we are supposed to do ten hours of service a week locally! We volunteer at thrift stores, the nasty cat house, the food bank, and now a cute little book store! We met the lady who owns the store during the flood and she was super nice and runs the whole thing by herself and gives a lot back to the community so we thought why not! It has ended up being the greatest thing ever! Her name is Miss Brooks and she actually just moved from Utah not very long ago so was very familiar with the LDS church! We aren't exactly supposed to be "proselyting" while doing service but she always brings it up so why not take advantage of it right?
I absolutely love this lady and she is one of my favorite people I have ever met! She ended up inviting us over for her family craw fish boil and it was a huge success! They were all so nice and had so many questions and it really was a great opportunity to get our name out there and plant that seed in those peoples hearts.
We also did some more service for Miss Angela (one of the flood victims we helped out) and we were able to talk about her feelings about God and with religion! Turns out she use to be a nun so we have something in common:) But we were able to have a really great conversation about it and it was so cool to hear about her life and her relationship with God. Sometimes I swear I learn more from those we teach then I teach them!
One of my favorite things about being a missionary is being able to see the fruits of your labor. Doing service for these people has definitely given me an attitude of even if i make one life easier I know that I truly have succeeded!
I am still my normal self and managed to do a puzzle in a matter of hours
Crazy Miss Donna.
With her teeth in, but not her eye, and not hair either.
So she was mad but still got the pic :)
Got Myself some CORGI Socks:)

Another email from Elder Ross
Sister Stevenson and Sister Belnap do some amazing work! time is flying by. It's exciting and sad at the same time. Many times I'm asked what does it feel like so close to the end. I tell them the best answer is that I feel all the emotions at once. Sounds like your part of Utah is very pretty. Some day I'll be better at making Navajo Tacos! My Mom makes probably the best frybread. Not just because I'm her son but people always compliment my Mom through me when she does make them. "Ross your Mom makes the best frybread!" They say! Truly this experience has blessed me. I'm so very thankful for it.
