Beyond Blessed

Hey hey hey family and friends!! It has been a crazy, awesome week here in the promised land of Albany. Have I ever told y'all how much I love this place? Because boy do I. It's been the place where I have truly figured out how to be the missionary I want to be and have been surrounded by nothing but amazing people and so many miracles. I truly am so blessed.

So crazy miracle story for y'all!! We had been teaching a lady awhile back and she had been coming to church and would always bring her friend Destiny with her when she would come. The lady got crazy busy with long shifts, work, sleep, excuses and we had kind of lost track of her for quite some time. The other day we were tracting in a not so friendly neighborhood and here is this young lady just smiling and waving while her friends around her were wondering what the crap are these two white girls were doing here. You think I am kidding. So we continue to walk around, knock some doors, but I couldn't help think to myself I know this girl from somewhere.

Take a moment to imagine this scene...The Spirit hit me like a ton of bricks and I literally shouted Destiny!! I drug Sister Steele back with me like the crazy missionary that I am and am winded by the time I make it back to this lady because you know.. Fat. But anyways it ended up being DESTINY!!! The young lady who had been coming to church with her friend!! We were able to talk for a bit and to catch up and she told us a good time to come back and visit with her.

Fast forward a couple days to the next visit... Destiny said that she was so happy to see us because she loved coming to church and she loved the feeling she had there. We were able to teach her the Restoration and the Spirit was sooo powerful. She was able to relate it to herself and never knew what church to join and has always wanted to be baptized but never really knew where. 

We are so so so excited to be teaching her and helping her progress in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is people like Destiny that makes every door slam, bashing, rainy day worth it. I love this gospel and I love knowing that the message that I have the privilege of sharing will change people's lives forever. There is nothing I love more and I truly mean that. I love y'all so much and as conference is coming around this next week (can I get a whoop whoop?) really go into conference desiring to become a better person then you were before. I know that the messages and testimonies that will be shared are strictly for YOU and your benefit. Have the best week y'all and happy happy spring:)
