First Exchange: Sister Hyer from the lovely branch of Amite! I was able to finally take over Albany and ya know we didn't do too shabby for pretending like I knew my area! Sister Hyer and I have had some of thesame companions and areas so it was fun to be able to talk to her and see we knew the same people!
My First MLC (Missionary Leadership Conference): Wow was that amazing!! I never knew that a meeting could be so spirit packed and have sooo many things to take back to our zones to instruct on! Plus it is always good to meet up with some of my favorite people including Sister Fox:)
Second Exchange: I'M GOING HOMEEEE!!! Well back to Covington:) and I even got to go there with a former Bear River Bear. Sister Kohler!! Small world right?? It was a very happy reunion and got to even see some of my favorite people there including Brooks and the one and only Ory fam! It really was too good. It makes me really grateful for the chance to serve a mission because I would have never been able to meet these amazing people if I wouldn't have chosen to serve a mission. They are huge blessings in my life and it literally made my whole entire life to see them all!
Elder Nattress from the Quorum of the Seventy made his way to the Denham Springs Stake for our stake conference this weekend and talk about a spiritual giant. He could easily be my new favorite speaker of all time. He talked about how discouragement is one of Satan's biggest tool in this life and especially as a missionary I have seen how true that really is. There are days when all you come across is rejection, judgement, and a whole lot of discouragement. But I know that is exactly what Satan wants from us, to get us at our lowest of lows so we can't ever reach our highest of highs.
I know that God has given us all moments of despair and discouragement not to hurt us but to help us and strengthen us to be able to see past our lows and see the highs in this life. I hope y'all have the greatest week and will continue to look at the high points of this life! With so much mission appropriate affection!!
Getting in car accidents has its perks when you get to spend time in the office with these people.
