Miss Sharon... I love this woman so so so much!! One of my favorite things about being a missionary is being able to see the light of Christ come into these people's lives and just change them completely and this is what I have been able to experience first hand with this amazing woman! She is so hungry for the gospel and reads and studies on her own alllll the time. She is amazing and so prepared.
We get to her house and we hadn't really talked about the Word of Wisdom very much and the first things she says is "So are you here to take my coffee and cigarettes?" Whaaaatt?... How did she know that?! She had totally been studying and was already preparing herself to stop smoking and drinking coffee. HOLYYYYY!!! So I went through the cupboards and took out all that crap and she told us later the moment we took the stuff out the door she no longer had those urges.. God is seriously preparing this woman every single day and helping her overcome her weaknesses.
Sooooo.. WE HAVE A BAPTISM FOLKS!!!!!! She has decided to be baptized on December 3rd and literally invites everyone to it. When I mean everyone I mean everyone! Her neighbors, her friends, every single church member, literally everyone and their dog. I love it so much and it is so amazing to see all this first hand and I just can never say that enough!
I can never begin the describe the happiness I feel that comes from serving our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. I couldn't do it without Him and I couldn't do it without each one of you! Thank you for your prayers and love. I miss you all and love you that much more!! Have the best week!!
