It has kind of been a really interesting week but I have learned a lot this past week too! We were able to have a zone conference and it was by far my favorite one so far! The spirit was so strong and we were able to hear from a lot of missionaries and the spirit was definitely felt so strongly!
Our zone is kind of in a really tricky situation. Since so many people are flooded it is kind of hard to be going door to door when half of our areas have been affected by flooding. So we have been trying to figure out were we should center our focuses!
Even if people weren't flooded so many people have been affected both physically and spiritually. So our focus is to bring that hope and peace into the lives of the people of Louisiana and to help ease their burdens! We have the amazing opportunity to give them that peace and that hope and let them know that they are not alone in their trials and that God is very much so aware of their situation. That He loves them and cares about them and wants them to be happy even in the hardest of times.
I know that God cares and loves all His children. That He gives us trials not to tear us down, but to turn our weaknesses into strengths and to become stronger in faith then we were before. I know that if we are grateful and find joy in each and every trial that we will be that much stronger and that much closer to our Heavenly Father and Savior!
Soooo I found this sucker at Walmart and I have never had something soooo amazing. I literally am in it all day (due to being locked in) and love every second of it. I have already converted three other missionaries to this sucker so it was totally worth it.
Funny story though.. I totally forgot I had it on and I had to go and grab something out of the car and I walked outside and of course allllll our neighbors just so happened to be outside.. I got a lot of looks but it was really funny now that I look back!
