I don't know if y'all remember Julia, but if not she is our AMAZING recent convert of a couple of months! She just recently is going through the process of a divorce but it is a GOOD thing trust me! She and her girls deserve so so so much better! But she has been kinda down lately because obviously this is a huge life adjustment! All she said she wanted was just simply peace!
It just so happened to be our ward temple night this past weekend and what's more peaceful then the temple right?? We invited to Julia to go and do baptisms with us while our ward did a session and she was really nervous, but was excited and knew that she could find peace there!
Talk about seriously the most amazing experience of my life! To see her happy, at peace, and in the temple will forever be one of the highlights of my life. Julia will forever be that person that changed my mission. Success is often hard to see here in the South and I have found myself on my knees a lot praying to see the good I am doing and it seemed as if in that moment in the temple with Julia Heavenly Father was letting me know the worth of just one soul coming unto Him.
It has made me realize that success is not necessarily the results that come from the work you put in but its all about the effort that you are willing to put into it. What you put into missionary work, your job, relationships, pretty much all parts of life is what you are gonna get out of it! I have realized that "being the best" isn't as important as doing your best. Giving it your all and leaving it all out on the field!
I will forever be grateful for this experience and to be able to know that God answers prayers in His own way and in His own timing. Hope y'all have the greatest week ever and know I love y'all ohhh sooo much!!:)
The only picture for the week.. But by far the greatest picture I have ever had. I love Julia, the temple, and the Lord's work!!
