Albany for Christmas

Well helloooo to all you amazing people!! It's been a crazy week, but I made my way to Albany, Louisiana!! I was sooo excited for three reasons... Its been my dream area since day one, I have gone on exchanges here and know some of the people, and I lucked out yet again in the companion department and got the glorious Sister Manuma!! We came out together and she is the most innocent, sweetest person alive!! So pray I don't corrupt her and that maybe I can be half the missionary/person she is!

My whole perception of Christmas has changed in these past couple of weeks. I never knew it would be so nice, so amazing to be away from all the craziness, all the shopping (yes, i said it), and be focused completely on the true meaning of Christmas and sharing it with others.

We have been working with the church's Christmas initiative "Light the World" and holy cow... I wish it was Christmas all year round because people LOVE it and are wanting to know more. If y'all haven't watched it or participated in it go and do it. Right now. You wont regret it. It is all about service and how when we are serving those around us it draws not only those we are helping but ourselves closer to the Savior as well.

I know for a fact that the best way to love someone, the best way to serve someone is to continue to put the Savior first in all our thoughts, in all our actions. I can never explain to y'all how much it means to me to be wearing this special tag at this special time of year. I love it and everything that comes with it. This is true happiness, and I know I am sharing this true happiness with the amazing people of Louisiana!

Have the BEST Christmas ever y'all!! I challenge each and every single on of you to serve everyday this week. I know it will bring you a merrier and brighter Christmas lighting the world with every act of kindness that we do.

Saying goodbye!!
